Obama may not be as big on large artillery as republicans are, but he sure has ramped up purchasing of small arms and small arms ammunition. Ordering 2 billion bullets for small arms in a two year span, thousands of assault rifles (real assault rifles that actually have fully automatic fire).... Top that off with trampling all over the bill of rights...

Obama has actually been worse for civil liberties than Bush was. I'm guessing he wanted to have the second amendment neutered before anyone found out about HR347 [aclu.org]. Right there we have the secret service given the ability to stop meaningful protest of government action. There goes the first amendment. And now wanting to trample all over the second amendment... In addition to the tramplings of the 4th and 5th....

We currently have a president that can imprison us and have us executed without trial, without oversight or any burden of proof. We don't even get a trial in absentia. We can now be thrown in prison for protesting the government, by the secret service. There is such a limited definition of what even qualifies one as a "terrorist", that the very nebulousness of it makes it meaningless.

And now the ignorant out there want take away our last line of defense, the second amendment. That such things are occurring right under our noses, and people are either complicit or ambivalent truly amazes me that there is any doubt what diorection this country is going in.

At what point do people have such an overabundance of information that what is happening in front of them that they can no longer deny it?

Even if what you claim is true, it pales in comparison to Bush's war mongering.

You've certainly not even claimed equal status between Obama and Bush.
