Is there a way to skirt around Amazon quantity limit?

759 769 December 3, 2012 at 09:47 PM
Hi guys and gals!

I was wondering if anyone had advice on ordering more than the quantity limit Amazon allows on certain items. So for example: If I want to buy 80 of one item, but Amazon has a quantity limit of 5 per order and account. How do I place 80 quantity worth without being noticed obviously? Lol, any help would be appreciated and obviously consistent Reps will be given to every answer that helps even a little bit.

Thank you.

Have friends and relatives place orders for you.

Unfortunately the only advice I am able to give is exactly what daniel32 & bzhayes commented. If you have amazon prime you can obviously take advantage of the free shipping perk & add as many accounts as possible via other email addresses and such. Otherwise ask friends & family to allow you to order on their account. You can add your own credit card to the payment details so it really wouldn't be any hassle to your friends, except allowing you to sign in & make the order.

My order was cancelled when I made a new Amazon account with a different email. I used to be able to do this in the past but not anymore. Below is the copy of the email.

We're writing to let you know we have canceled your order because it violates Amazon.com's quantity limit restrictions on select promotional and popular products.

Amazon.com has quantity limit restriction on select products to allow the promotional and popular products to be available to all Amazon.com customers.

If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact an Account Specialist by writing to [email protected]
