It is, in fact, stupid.
just because they are flakes....
But they don't have to know!
vviles, what do you think about the book
perhaps you could offer a lump sum buyout (since you have ~13 mos remaining), which could cut out some interest - yet, from what you indicated, that is not what you are interested in doing
you may wanna consider what you could get for resale now, and purchase preowned vehicle free&clear

that being said, my payoff amount right now is $8,300. my car is worth almost twice that amount just as a trade-in to a dealership. i'd get even more for it trying to sell it on my own. the whole reason i decided to buy the car was because i planned to have it for a very long time and i knew it would be a good investment.
i just didn't plan for all of this

Not to mention it took THREE BOOKS to find the stupid bowl that NO ONE CARES ABOUT.
AND they left Mat to rot. Bitches.
Sigh. Much better.
i dunno how much weight i give your movie reviews
i've got a car that will last me another 10 years with no problems at all, probably even more than that. there's no way i'm selling it and buying used just so i can get out of a year's worth of high payments. i've been with it for almost 4 years now, there's no turning back now.

As far as approval goes, not sure. Since your car is worth more then the loan, you shouldn't have too much of a problem. They might ask for a co-signer.
Are you eligible for unemployment?

I filed my initial unemployment claim online, but it hasn't been processed yet so I can't see the status of it online. I wouldn't be able to collect until mid-March anyways, when my severance runs out. Calling the ESC office is on my list today.
I'm also going to see if my apartment complex will let me sign a 15-month lease instead of a 12-month lease. Maybe that'll help lessen the rent increase a little? If they won't extend it, then I'm definitely asking for new carpet with my lease renewal
