TumbleweedIt's not even summer yet and we have a triple digit heat index! It's like breathing steam when you go outside. Blowup I think I will become a vampire and only go out at night! Bigeye

Once you hit 105, there's not a noticeable difference in the heat past that point, it's just pain, lot's of pain. Comfort laugh out loud

I beg to differ. 105 (Tucson) is noticeably cooler than 120 (Phoenix).

Yeah if you go from one to the other. But as far as your body coping with the temp rising from 105 to say 110-115, you don't really notice a big difference, it doesn't feel worse body wise.

No I'm saying it does. Tucson is noticeably easier to live in than Phoenix. 15 degrees is 15 degrees.

I don't think it reached 80° today. In Alabama. On July 4th. Bigeye

This is when those yellow and black EnergyStar stickers on the side of your AC make a big difference in your utility bill bulb

Yep, can't forget that. During the hottest days in Phoenix, the A/C almost never stopped. Here in Tucson, it takes breaks here and there.

We had to replace ours ~3 years ago and opted for the better efficiency ratting (I forget the SEER # on it) as it would pay for itself in the long run. To get from our garage to our backyard I have to walk by our condenser, and I cringe less when I hear it running, but still there is a pain I feel near my buttocks...my Wallet! laugh out loud

Sauna days this week". Scattered thunder showers and heat. It rains just long enough to add
"water to the rocks". Faint

Mid 80's yesterday and today with that farking humidity back up to the 70%-80% range or higher. Ranting

Supposed to stay down in the 70s for the near future though. Can't wait to start night shift on Thursday--there's just something about cool summer nights that just can't be duplicated. Girly

We're finally going to suffer at least some here, high of 95 today and tomorrow.
