I just called. The two eligibility requirements were stated to me as follows:
1) Must get at least 1 or 2 bars of 3G/4G signal in home (by a window at least)*. If there is no signal to begin with, there is nothing to "boost". 2) Phone bill must be at least $50. My plan is above $50 but below $50 below discounts, and apparently I was eligible, so maybe YMMV depending on how closely the rep looks into it. *The way the booster works is it has two pieces tethered together; one is placed by the window or wherever gets the strongest signal while the other is placed in a more central location of the home. It was very easy, they didn't ask for anything else but YMMV as others have stated. |

If you look on some of the earlier posts, I know i posted something along the lines of what I went over with the rep that helped me at the time.
MAy help to just try different times, -shrugs- won't hurt -- or best option is to go into a tmo store, and tell them you need one, and ask them to order for you, this was offered to me at one store when I Was hoping to find one B&M, however ended up ordering over the phone; now-so you don't waste a trip to tmobile, call them ahead of time lol
let me know how it goes ; may even be worth it to post on their forums or do 'chat' I've noticed that the forum/chat reps are sometimes more umm, 'knowledgeable' (Trying to be nice) haha and/or willing to help

but then I received a survey to complete in my email. I trashed the company and Cs big time and checked off I wouldn't recommend them, blah blah blah. I then get a phone call from another department pertaining to my survey. I told them about my reception at home and I really had no problem dropping them. Well you know the rest. I did get one sent. And I did get the phone call from the cs as promised and I told him I was getting the extender, he sounded surprised.
So I called customer support shortly after I saw the OP's post and they said they'd "look into" the service in my area. They said they'd call back in a few days but never did. I kind of forgot about it.
Today I got an incoming call from a rep who said they would send me the booster for free (no shipping).
I expect to get some good use from this device since I do have some parts of my house where I lose signal but some parts where everything is great. Also I hope I can use it when traveling to help boost marginal reception in some places. It is too bad it doesn't also support GSM as some places in the boonies don't have 3G yet at all.
Thanks a bunch OP!
Apparently they know "old" houses interfere with the signal and thus won't give it out to people in homes. Rep said that apartments are normally given boosters since signals can reach through?

same here. got it completely free, and since it shipped in state, it arrived the next day.
calling over wifi has never worked well, so we were looking for an alternative. we were a little skeptical about this, but holey buckets-- this thing is amazing!!
the best reading we could get on the booster was 5. it varies between 3-5, but we now have full bars and LTE all over.
didn't qualify or it didn't work?
