Is this a catfish (slang)?

When I was on MeetMe (the dating app), I met this woman "Maxine Diaz" (not using her real name). She had a cute photo. We briefly chatted and agreed to transfer to WhatsApp. After a few days I asked if we could share photos since she only had 1 on her dating profile. When she sent me this one, I couldn't believe how much different "she" looked. Is this even the same people? Can makeup drastically make a woman look so different she would be "Coyote Ugly" w/o it?

See attached photos. You would not believe it. She was pretty p!ssed when I told her she could pass for a dude.

Looks like a 25-year difference. Not sure if she's Filipino or some other southeast Asian, but I generally stay away from them because in that area, some women create profiles based in the US to find an American to take them in. Some are honest about their intentions while others aren't.
