Please read these rules before entering the Amazon Student Play Santa Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes"). You agree that, by submitting an entry, you will be bound by these Official Rules and you acknowledge that you satisfy all sweepstakes eligibility requirements.
Eligibility.
If you are an individual legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and are the older of 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your state of residence at the time of entry, you are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. Our employees, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors or advertising/promotion agencies (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
How to Enter.
You may enter the Sweepstakes beginning at 12:00:01 a.m. (PT) on November 24, 2014 and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. (PT) on December 10, 2014 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). You may enter the Sweepstakes via Facebook and Twitter as described below.
FACEBOOK
To enter via Facebook, you must enter via either Facebook Entry Method #1 or Facebook Entry Method #2, as described below.
Facebook Entry Method #1
(1) Go to www.amazon.com/gp/socialmedia/promotions/playsantaFB14 [amazon.com]; and
(2) Click the "Continue to Enter" button to enter using your name and e-mail address associated with your Amazon.com account. If you are not already logged into your Amazon.com account when you click "Continue to Enter," you will be required to log in to your Amazon.com account to complete the entry process. After entering, you will be taken to an entry confirmation page where you can review your entry information along with instructions for changing your entry information if necessary.
You must have an Amazon.com account and Facebook account and be logged in to each of those accounts to enter the Sweepstakes. Entering the Sweepstakes via Facebook Entry Method #1 will connect your Facebook account with Amazon, enabling social features (as detailed on the application request prompt) that, among other things, will enable you to participate in the Sweepstakes.
Facebook Entry Method #2
If you wish to enter the Sweepstakes via Facebook with more limited social features (as detailed on the application request prompt) enabled than those required for Facebook Entry Method #1, alternatively, you may enter the Sweepstakes by following the steps below.
(1) Go to www.amazon.com/gp/socialmedia/promotions/playsantaFB14/?AmazonBasic=1 [amazon.com]; and
(2) Click the "Continue to Enter" button to enter using your name and e-mail address associated with your Amazon.com account. If you are not already logged into your Amazon.com account when you click "Continue to Enter," you will be required to log in to your Amazon.com account to complete the entry process. After entering, you will be taken to an entry confirmation page where you can review your entry information along with instructions for changing your entry information if necessary.
You must have an Amazon.com account and Facebook account and be logged in to each of those accounts to enter the Sweepstakes. Entering the Sweepstakes via Facebook Entry Method #2 will connect your Facebook account with Amazon, enabling more limited social features than those required for Facebook Entry Method #1 and allowing access only to your basic information.
TWITTER
To enter via Twitter, you must enter via either Twitter Entry Method #1 or Twitter Entry Method #2, as described below.
Twitter Entry Method #1

(2) Click the "Follow" button to follow @AmazonStudent on Twitter if you have not already done so; and
(3) Click the "Enter" button to enter using your name and e-mail address associated with your Amazon.com account. If you are not already logged into your Amazon.com account when you click "Enter," you will be required to log in to your Amazon.com account to complete the entry process. After entering, you will be taken to an entry confirmation page where you can review your entry information along with instructions for changing your entry information if necessary.
You must have an Amazon.com account and Twitter account and be logged in to each of those accounts to follow @AmazonStudent on Twitter and enter the Sweepstakes. Entering the Sweepstakes via Twitter Entry Method #1 will connect your Twitter account with Amazon, enabling social features (as detailed on the application request prompt) that, among other things, will enable you to participate in the Sweepstakes.
Twitter Entry Method #2
If you wish to enter the Sweepstakes via Twitter without connecting your Twitter account with Amazon and enabling social features, alternatively, you may enter the Sweepstakes by following the steps below.

(2) Click the "Follow" button to follow @AmazonStudent on Twitter if you have not already done so; and
(3) Click the "Enter" button to enter using your name and e-mail address associated with your Amazon.com account. If you are not already logged into your Amazon.com account when you click "Enter," you will be required to log in to your Amazon.com account to complete the entry process. After entering, you will be taken to an entry confirmation page where you can review your entry information along with instructions for changing your entry information if necessary.
You must have an Amazon.com account and Twitter account and be logged in to each of those accounts to follow @AmazonStudent on Twitter and enter the Sweepstakes. Entering the Sweepstakes via Twitter Entry Method #2 will not connect your Twitter account with Amazon and will only allow access to "Read Tweets from your timeline" and "See who you follow" for the purpose of verifying your participation in Sweepstakes and enabling you to participate in other Amazon programs via Twitter.
Limit one entry per person and Amazon.com account via Facebook, and one entry per person and Amazon.com account via Twitter, for a maximum of two entries per person and Amazon.com account. For example, you may enter once via Facebook and once via Twitter. You may not use multiple Facebook, Twitter, or Amazon.com accounts to enter the Sweepstakes, and an entrant who submits entries through multiple accounts will be disqualified.
