My husband and I got married in Antigua. I don't remember the specifics but we did have to apply for a license in NYC in order to be considered married. They didn't even ask about the Antiguan license. I think you should definitely stick with your original reason if you've emailed them already. You want the initial ceremony to be local with full family from both sides in attendance. You've heard wonderful things about the weddingmoons at the resorts and you'd love to experience it as a commitment ceremony if possible. You'd be grateful for any assistance they can provide.
Sometimes I write stuff down in advance if I'm nervous. Try that too. I'm sure you'll be fine!

In two days it will have been a full 2 months. Does anyone know who I should contact/who does the contest for Toshiba?

How were you notified of the win in the first place? In my experience there is usually some way of contacting the company in the win notification, but I guess there probably wasn't any contact info from the original prize claim process since you're asking the question. I was going to say something about maybe it is 6-8 weeks after the end of the sweep but that really doesn't make much of a difference since you won on one of the last days.

was emailed from a toshiba no reply email (they sent a link of a form to fill out within 7 days and I did that). The bottom of the email says:

which I assume means if I try to email it, it won't be sent anywhere...if I can't find the actual sweeps people who handle it, I guess I'll just email toshiba cust service (hopefully someone will know...)

I kinda figured that was the case. I don't think it will help at all, but here is a link for the official rules. The winners list request goes to Young America MN so I imagine the sweep was run by one of the big sweepstakes companies and not by Toshiba itself. If you can get a message to the marketing department of Toshiba maybe they'd have some idea of what to do.

there are quite a few sandals trips...he probably entered the wedding moon one without really reading all the details.

But yeah, definitely just read the rules and fine print before entering...many of the Sandals trips don't require a wedding and aren't honeymoon trips.

As a former travel agent who specialized in destination weddings, we always advised clients to have the actual legal civil ceremony here in the U.S. as most countries have different rules & regulations for marriage requirements & isn't usually recognized a legal ceremony for U.S. citizens. Destination wedding ceremonies are really just for show & they can be very beautiful & meaningful - just not legally binding.

Go to their Facebook page and try contacting them there. Most companies are pretty good about responding to Facebook posts or messages.
