I now hate BofA. I'm going to close all my accounts with them. They denied me for this card because they said in 2001 they had a CO I wasn't even aware of. They couldn't give me any information about it because it was so old, just that they couldn't approve me.

Hmm, I have 5 credit cards (Amex Premier Gold, Amex Blue Cash, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Freedom, and Discover). I don't even really need all 5 or use all 5. I just keep them open and charge small amounts to the ones I don't use as much because keeping them open is good for credit score (length of accounts opened, etc).

Generally, Amex Premier Gold is my "Go To" card for everything and anything (as long as the merchant accepts AMEX). I use Discover a lot in Q4 of every year when Amazon purchases get 5% cash back. I barely ever use AMEX Blue Cash. I think I charge my Spotify every month to this card. One of the Chase card becomes my "Go To" card when AMEX is not accepted.

So.......how do I justify getting this card.....?

awesome ops! Just refinanced 2 mortgages and cancelled amex gold, so I thought I would get bounced, but got approved instantly. Easy $200. Got a Padres logo. TU
