OP is probably talking about Costco's return policy where you can return most items at anytime even years later.

Not true. Only certain electronics have the 90 day return window: Televisions, Tuner-Free Displays, Projectors, Major Appliances, Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Cameras, Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones.
Costco's return policy isn't unlimited anyways. It says they guarantee your satisfaction on items. It's always up to the manager to if they want to accept or deny a return Rarely though do they refuse returns on normal things. Source: I've worked at Costco and my brother is a manager
