for levelup users out there, this is the same app and there's no restriction on what you buy. it's a flat $7 so you can get $7 off any items, because LevelUp remains unable to differentiate.
I confirmed the reward in Potbelly's app but of course the QR code is the same so you don't need the dedicated app to redeem (though the credit doesn't appear in the LevelUp android app yet)

I downloaded the app it said I had 2 perks, now it says 1 perk. I'm not sure what happened, maybe a app glitch.
