A hotel guest and an employee witnessed the pair entering the hotel room together at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Guardia said.

Police have video of the previous night, May 29, of Van de Sloot and Flores together at the Atlantic City Casino in Lima, he said.

According to immigration officials, Van de Sloot fled to Chile over land on Monday, Guardia said.

He was the primary suspect (and practically the only suspect) and the Aruban police tried for years to bring that kid to justice.

I feel the "again" is definitely accurate here, as he has once again (allegedly) killed a girl.

i don't see how the first story was even news worthy to begin with. this is only news worthy because of the first.

i have a friend who's aruban...sydney ponson is like a national icon there.

The video where he admitted he sold her into slavery? Or the video where he admitted to dumping her body in the ocean? He seems to be a pathological liar, and there's little evidence that he did anything. In all seriousness, this girl was so drunk and high that it's entirely feasible that she simply OD'd or she went swimming in the ocean and never came back. There was never any evidence of foul play. People act like she was abducted from Bible Camp. She was irresponsible.

True. But, when you're the last person to see a missing person alive, it's understandable for you to be the prime suspect. In Van Der Sloot's case, didn't he have a father who's a judge? And, didn't the father push his weight around in order to curtail the investigation?

Please. Joran is guilty of causing Natalee's death.. are you serious that you think she went swimming - alone - in the middle of the night in a foreign country?

Joran is responsible for Natalee's death.. and now this second lady, Stephany Ramirez, is found in a hotel room rented by Joran.. video footage shows him entering and exiting.. Witnesses saw Joran & Stephany together.. I wonder how he thought he'd get away with that one -- with blood all over the place (reportedly)..

His daddy won't be able to help him out of this jam, since he died a few months ago.. and unfortunately for Joran -- his victim comes from a wealthy and prominent family and it didn't happen in Aruba (they bungled the Natalee Holloway case)...

This was bound to happen again.. He's a total psychopath...
