6 min battery life is pretty good for the suction it provides. All of these handheld vacs batteries are going to be short lived because vacuums require a lot of energy to run. It'll be like this...

better deal at bed bath and beyond... I just got a 20 percent off coupon for them over the next 2 weeks in an email...Usually the 20% off coupons they give you state they are not valid on Dyson fans...

I have one of these and yeah the battery will last maybe a full 4-5 minutes after a full charge so keep that charging cord handy, but overall its a really nice hand-vac.
