Oh yes, I do this all the time with my All-Clad pans. It's the top reason I haven't switched from gas to to induction.

Yeah I really don't know whether the heat conductivity will be worth it, but in terms of pans where you want to flip (saute pan), shake/slide (skillet), and accurately pour or move on and off heat...

I haven't paid much attention to the graphite line. Feels to me like marginal value, though one saucepan might be interesting, if you do a lot of sauces.
