That’s because of Firefox. I uninstalled Firefox and swap usage went down drastically. I suspect Firefox has some bad code in there where it writes its cache every few mins.

If your swap needs regular reading or writing then your system is basically undersized. Of course it depends on how you use it, but 8gb is very little for this day and age.
