The 990 Pro is gen 5, the 980 pro is gen 4 I havent added the 990 pro because it doesnt add enough speed, it would just add more heat. I run all 2tb - 980 pros and 970 evo plus as cache drives...

I have the 2TB SN850x as well. Perhaps Gen 5 computers will show a real difference, but until then, they just all seem to run together if you know what I mean.
