I'd say the only unnecessary upgrade was the SSD.

Swapping out this much hardware at this price for entry almost seems like you should have just gone with a more expensive laptop and kept the warranty.

1080p doesnt scale to QHD properly, so anyone that cares about image quality will absolutely not want to do that. You'd have to play games in a window to maintain good image quality. I would not...

1200p because it’s a 16:10 screen. But playing at non-native resolutions that don’t scale properly results in a blurrier image in general. Probably not super noticeable at this screen size but...

You can play the game at FHD or change the native res to 1080. But I prefer QHD for productivity

I feel like QHD+ on a 14" screen is a bit overkill. I'd rather compromise with a lower resolution and higher performance.
