It's not a hammer drill if that's what you're asking... but, yeah, if you use a decent masonry bit (like the ones from Bosch), then a drill like this with it's high 1,700 rpm speed can drill through...

I hate these 2.0 batteries so much , the cells always end up out of balance quickly , they need to start using the 3.0 instead.
