The sub is the 12", so 120w RMS, 240w peak. Still not great, but should be significantly better than the 8".

The subwoofers they offer are absolute junk. The 8" has a cheap stamped basket and tiny magnet. The 12" only weighs 31lbs. You can buy those 12" bass drivers at Parts Express for $12.
