ANC works fabulously. This ANC works better than Sony. Excellent in a noisy manufacturer noise control off. Barely pick up wind noise while driving. Got mine at Costco for 100 during Christmas....

I had the same issue. Some material causes an allergic reaction. Don't have the issues with other brands. Replacing the plastic earpieces didn't help.
