In hindsight, if your cameras are wireless, I would have to agree here... I have multiple cameras but they're all wired. So when I say my router covers my entire house, from a wireless standpoint...

Any decent router should be able to handle your needs. I have a 3,600 sq. ft. house, two story with basement and this Netgear WNDR4500 does the job just fine.
