I don’t even know where I bought mine. Had it for a long time. You do need to grease it up once a month from the manual. Veggie oil or shredder oil.

I've had it, for about as long (with about as much use). It actually doesn't turn on, unless the back switch is pushed in, from the basket. I found that out the hard way. So I *think* your fingers...
