waiting for $2 deal from HD! Price wise: Costco deal costs($7.99) ≈$4.78/cu.ft If HD deal comes thru, it will be $2.65/cu.ft ($2 deal). Quality wise Costco deal is better.

Why don't u just go to your local nursery or bulk materials place. Shovel some into into bins or your truck bed. Probably much better quality than the bagged mass produced brands.

I bought a few bags from Costco about 2 weeks ago. Added some lettuce seeds into where I poured the soil and already getting seedlings. I'm happy with it. Looks like the quality is YMMV

Weed seeds and pathogens that can be found in cow manure. Also it's a lot easier to br ing home a few bags of soil than manure from local sources.
