Brite does not filter out fluoride. According to their site “Brita filters keep a healthy level of fluoride” 😅

I concur on the fish taste. In as little as 2 weeks on a filter I started tasting the ocean so yeah... I couldn't afford to replace these expensive ass filters every other week.

Those are two different types of filters. The brands should not be compared that way.
One of the Brita filters (Elite) does filter out lead. Now, I don't know what the TDS is for the Elite filter...

I use both: first brita and then zero. Helps the zero filter last longer. I still have 50 zero filters from the coupon and target deal two years ago.

Just use Elite version of the Brita filter which filter lead. The model CR tested just does not filter lead.
