It should. You just need to make sure you select DC instead of PWM. The board controls DC fans via voltage control instead of PWM.

Pretty much most motherboards that support 7th gen intel and newer, am4 and up have voltage control for 3-pin fans in the bios.

Depends on the motherboard I guess. None that I've used since ~2006 support controlling 3 pin fans, but I'm sure it exists.
