Each individual stand is rated 1 1/2 ton. The 3 ton rating is only when both stands are used together.

Nope. These are jack stands. They can hold a load but can't lift a load. For that you need a jack instead.

I bought 2 6ton from these guy and going to be the other two from harbor freight. The Daytona one seems sturdier with more metals in the middle and less gaps.
