I guess you and I differ for what is considered a "tiny price." I think the price for YTpremium is insanely high. And I use a Firestick on my smartTV and hitting skip is easy and flawless.

I read if you set your VPN to Albania you'll never see an ad because they apparently don't have ads there.
But I've never tried that because on PC I use adblockers, and on Android it's ReVanced,...

Exactly, plus, ReVanced allows to block sponsors, shorts, display dislikes, etc. Even YT Premium won't get you that.
And for Android TV, SmartTube is the app to get.
Haven't seen an ad on YT...

strongly disagree. paying a tiny price to never see an ad again.... yes please! also, on tv it's not as easy to just "hit skip" as it is on other platforms... can keep YT running in the background...

Went from like $9 a month to $24 (that can't be inflation), added nothing but 1080p option to people's 4K videos, no one uses Google Play Music/YTM, ad-blockers have gotten so much better, really...

in PC you can always use a good adblocker like Ublock Origin to get ad-free youtube in web browser. No sign-in needed.
