These are not one size fits all. So 1 model may not work well with all cars. I got this but it kept freezing on my Honda Ridgeline truck. I bought an Ottocast and it works perfectly.

Why? Unless the update adds any new features or you had any problems with it to begin, an update can only bring problems.
