M3 model with its much quicker dual-chip SSD, hardware ray-tracing, ability to power 2 external displays with the lid closed and enhanced wifi is worth the $150 premium (currently $999 on Amazon)...

8gb ram is nothing on windows laptops, but on Mac’s it works well for things other than heavy task like video editting

Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) on these displays cause some people to notice a flicker. Some people claimed improvement on the M2 Mac. Apple is getting cheap with displays.
