I can see at least two mechanics stolen from Ori as well. If you're going to pick 3 to steal from those aren't bad choices though. Looks pretty good, going to give it a try.

No, it looks a bit more chipper than HK and less deep in gameplay-- my opinion didn't really count as I haven't tried this yet. Hollow Knight was awesome though

This game is fantastic. It's a short one like Sheepo. Pick it up. I hope the devs are getting a good rate from Epic because they are solid Metroidvania devs. It's very speedrunnable.
