Whole house ro is not a real thing. There are whole house filters but they are really just sediment, not on the same level as ro.

You can just add an in line water filter, don't need to run from sink. Get a whole house reverse osmosis filter.

right, it happened to me. End up calling costco warranty service team they end up replacing the housing due to the clip holding the filter together.

Buy a reverse osmosis and put fridge filter in bypass. Gets you cleaner water, more access to water, better water pressure and is much much cheaper. That is if you can run a line from sink to fridge.

I doubt it’s the filter that is causing the fitment issue. LG has a design flaw with the housing which causes the tabs to be misaligned when replacing the filter. We struggled with ours for awhile...
