I just got these to sit on my towers. I dont know about all the bouncing stuff and if it works or not,

So, these have that “small sealed speaker” sound. I did a side-by-side with some cheaper smaller Klipsch bookshelves (R-41?) and the bookshelf sounded better despite having only a 4-inch woofer.

lol for the same reason your LCRs have them.
The better all your speakers can produce bass, the better the integration.
Which then creates a better surround/immersion sound.

Definitely had to up them! Mine are ceiling mounted facing down and still had to up the output quite a bit, but it made a huge difference and sounds great now!

Trick is up atmos speakers +5 decibels to whatever audessy or dirac puts them at after calibration... I run svs prime elevations with psa mt210s and dual 21in subs. 5.2.4 Love it

Mine sound incredible in a 7.3.4 configuration. Best way I can describe it is a wall of sound vs just ear level.

These are designed to sit flat on top of your existing speakers and fire up at the ceiling. Certainly not as ideal as in-ceiling speakers firing down, but more than adequate if they're set up...
