the spec'ed bandwidth is 64Gbps ~ 8000GB/s so it CAN handle any Gen4 NVMe and the general statement below is moot.

They make 'em, but you'll only save a power cable. You'll still need to run a SATA cable on the ones I've seen.

I have had this for over a year. Never had any problems, but got tired of the rgb that only matches my color scheme every ten seconds. Finally removed it last week.

I have a startech one in my unraid box. It works. Can't speak of this one, though. You'll need to figure out what chipset is in it and research compatibility.

I tried to use one. It was a pain. Video card was too big to see the Extra 88 FPS worth or RGB sexiness, and the 2TB NVME I tried was DOA.
