I’ve gone through 8 refills of the feeder bottle and have had no such issue. These were $8 at Costco (close out price) with 10 duracells.

It’s great for a short sessions, makes lots of bubbles. 10-15 mins of play and the bubble wands get clogged and it starts foaming producing no more bubbles until it dries.
