That was the one I was going to buy. Ended up with Silver/Black. I agree the branding is non-aesthetic. But my current leathers have me dripping sweat in the hotter months, so worth a try at $150.

I think the original back protector in my Scorpion jacket was just a sheet of EVA foam. If I had no back protector and little money, I would order EVA foam from "The Foam Factory" and cut it to fit....
