I've been wringing my hands between them too... hit both this week (7i), and the differences were "as advertised" - but I was surprised by the magnitude. The D9 forged played a full club longer than...

D9 forged are more of a semi-game improvement iron. Wider sole and top line with stronger lofts. https://pluggedingolf.com/wilson-d9-forged-irons-review/

Trying to decide between these and the D9 forged but having a hard time as it seems they are fairly comparable. Are D9 just slightly more forgiving and higher hitting?

They had the D9 forged on display for $800. I told him about the Maple Hill deal and he said that is an insane deal that is cheaper than the ‘at cost’ price he could buy them for. I was hitting them...

Did your local PGA superstore show these as a stocked item, or did they just have a demo? Curious if mine would have them...

I love them. Like I mentioned, I retired my P790's for these, which these are considered a rip off of. On average I gained about 15% with each club. I'd do it again 100%.

I just bought the D9 forged. I hit them before buying at PGA super store and liked them. I’m a 10-12 handicap. Did I make a mistake not buying these instead?

Start with edge set then replace with clubs you get fitted for as you improve.

I am starting golf lessons next month and played maybe 5 times in my life. I was good at baseball so I’m relatively confident I will get a hang quickly with a pro coach. I was planning to buy the...

If you want something in between I think the D9 forged still has some forgiveness but being a forged club it will have better feedback on ball striking.

My CBs arrived yesterday. Gonna be a shame to take these WS grips off for some jumbo golf pride grips. Can't wait to hit them

These and the D9s are not even remotely in the same category. These CB are not for beginners. I would say single handicap players for these and 10-15 handicap for the D9s. Why make golf harder, go...

If you want to make the game easier for you get the D9. If you care about looks feels and working the ball get the CB.

Agree, I bought a set of stiff clubs (Titleist AP1s) as a beginner, struggled my first few years but still had fun playing with them. 7 years later I can say that I am happy now that I don't need to...

I'm a 15 and went with these CBs. I play old Titleist dci 990s that are probably considered a cavity back. I want to get more consistent at ball striking, so I don't want to go "backwards" in a more...

This would be sweet, but the lack of length adjustments availale push me away. I'm still rocking my Maltby DBM Forged set with Recoil shafts at a +2 legnth. The +2 always makes it a little harder to...
