Brand name Talalay latex toppers can be quite pricey, like Avocado and Saatva. There are more economical options like Turmerry and Latex Mattress Factory. For me, 3 inch thickness is the sweet spot.

Natural latex doesn't trap heat, particularly if you get Talalay latex. Dunlop latex is not quite as breathable but still not anywhere close to memory foam.

I'd say this is as good as any basic Sealy or Serta mattress that also uses bonnell springs. Definitely put a waterproof mattress protector on it though, and don't ever attempt to open the mattress.
