You realize you're supposed to clean this shit every once in a while, right? They're not going to get mold in the 2-3 days it'll take a dog to empty it out.

For those who really care about their pet’s water supply, two things: 1. Use only glass bowls made in the USA instead of plastic and 2.; filter the water https://a.co/d/j5wmvpE

We’ve had one for several years with no mold issues. We have 4 indoor cats and 2 large breed dogs, it needs to be refilled every other day at least so I’m sure that is what helps the no mold.

Title on Amazon says “Made in USA.” Description says “Country of Origin: China” Don’t you dare TD this comment for simply stating what the product page states.

My GSD finishes 1-gallon one in 2-3 days (after running outside quite a bit). I clean it every refill to prevent green stuff and set it away from sunlight. Will buy this trying out.

Oo. I wonder if that’s to do with slobber. I have a whippet and I don’t notice that at all with her. But when I have a golden or St. Bernard over it’ll get gross like that sometimes after awhile.

i have a huge one and it doesnt as long as you wash the base when you replace the water at the top. same way you (should) wash the bowl every so often for a normal water bowl.

The bowl will get pretty nasty/dirty before that 3 gallons needs filling if you have a medium or small breed dog. Its probably fine for a big dog that drinks a lot.
