At the end of the day you put these in raids 5 or 6 so you can expect 1 or 2 to fail. But price is like 1/3 of the msrp... if you have an array of 10 drives this is worth it

Yes, the x24 are much newer. So worst case u have a drive that have been running for less than 1 years.
