I don't have any batteries in the unit when I use the adapter. Everything works. I have printed many labels already and never used batteries.

I recieved my ac adapter today and it works perfect. For under $5, I'd rather have this than keep 6 AAA batteries in it. Hope this helps someone out. BTW, the adapter that epson sells is $25. ...
