Usually these type of seats come with an infant head support. Buying an aftermarket support that was not crash tested with the seat is something that I would not feel comfortable doing.

Exactly what the posters above stated. I used a graco travel system until my daughter was about one and she outgrew it. It’s certainly easier to use the travel system as long as your kid fits in it.
