If you mean our top header change, we didn't touch the ads at all, so I don't see how they could be related.

The notification icon has always been there, even if you didn't have them. That has not changed - only the image has :)

Can the Notification (!) icon be cleared? I seem to remember when you went to the notification it would clear from the homepage. Now it is always there and I think I have a new notification.

Just tried it in Chrome again...and another nice "Feature" is that if you start to read a page...and the avatars haven't loaded yet...you scroll down reading new posts...and BAM! suddenly the page...
