Is the VPN really necessary? I seem to be downloading Lost Planet Colonies right now. Unless buying it really works, just doesn't download.

You need the beta dashboard. If you do not have the beta dashboard, the Xbox will prompt you for payment information.

Sounds like too much trouble and too high risk. Not going to be cheap and risk losing my Xbox live account (all all paid content) for theft of marketplace services.

So, if you live in India, you can get these games for free?? I'd say that's a big YMMV on this deal... They all showed up as free for me, but when you click download, it tries to charge you...
