Actually he said "expect them to lose their capacity after 12-14 charges" which shows he is meaning they are rechargeable. Capacity = total space, not total stored energy.

These are OK for remote controls and low voltage uses, not good for high power uses like external camera flashes , their life isn't that great, expect them to lose their capacity after 12-14 charges
