kensington one sux, i can vouch for the urlhasbeenblocked charging at 2 amps with my Galaxy S4...make sure to use the OEM cable (or a shielded usb cable) or it might not charge at 2 amps with a cheap generic...

yes. the lower the better, but it takes longer to charge. going with higher amps will charge it faster, but it heats up your battery a lot. heat + battery = bad. it will deteriorate your battery...

simple.. go with this one for charging your s5 and Iphone 5s. To your point of using GPS at the same time, just make sure you have 2 ports in your vehicle to connect the charger. Music?

You need one of these: ground loop noise isolator. I couldn't tell you the technical details of how it works, but I know that I had the exact same problem in my car and this took care of it...
