I have a 24" 1080p monitor and a 27". I prefer the 27". I prefer to sit further away from a monitor, so people who like to sit really close may have a different opinion.

This is my concern as well. I feel like I might be better off with a 24" 1080p model or just waiting until 1440p 27" monitors get cheaper. Can anyone comment (subjectively) on size vs. pixel...

I'm hoping this is the flicker free version, but the GW2750HM model number does included versions that use PWM backlighting. BenQ switched to DC in 2013: BenQ GW2750HM (New Revision with P/N:...

Is refresh rate no longer relevant? I noticed it is no longer listed as a spec. I have an Asus 60 Hz monitor and usually have vsync on in games so the frame rate is limited to 60 fps. Does this...

This model is NOT Flicker Free. It uses PWM dimming which will damage your eyes. The gw2760 model is the flicker free version.

Good price thanks OP...however for 27" 1920 x 1080 gives lower pixel density.

Main draw of this monitor is the flicker-free PWM backlighting. Otherwise, I'd rather have IPS.
