I don't like it either, barely freezes, it turns milk cold after 20 mins of spinning (still liquidy soup), then you put the bowl and contents it in the freezer anyway to make it ice cream...

Works great except very noisy , gear/motor . Since you have it running 20 minutes, that can be an issue, I put it the bathroom and close the door.
