They are not narrow. 17 1/4" width for the material, plus some extra room 3 inches from edge to edge of the chair rails and 22 inches between the arm supports. Bought a pair of these about 10 years...

I have this chair. I'm 6' with a 32" inseam. The middle of the back of my head hits the top bar, and my torso is longer than the torso section of the chair. My knees are not even close to heart...

I picked up two. It was cheaper to place two separate orders. I hope these can hold up in direct sunlight but I doubt it. Time will tell. Anyone else have experience with this product?
