Pretty sure this is 100% wrong. My friend has a FreeSync monitor paired up with a GTX 1080 and I know he did his research on the topic beforehand.

I've had an nVidia 960 & 980 on the same dual monitor setup that I've had an AMD 380 & 6750 on and several people have also seen the difference in text clarity. No idea how it works tho.

i would have jumped on this but got in on the gtx 1060 from best buy, might just cancel the order i paid $225 for my1060 after taxes and amex discount and a $10 bestbuy coupon and a visa checkout...
