love the wr250r, I often try to keep up with one on my klx250s

I started looking at local Urals as my 11 yr old would like to go 'motorcycle camping' with me. Very, Very different to drive. Also so hard to keep up with what years had what changes, is 07 better than 05. And prices :-(

these look more like full on dirt boots. not that thats a bad thing. The level of protection that comes with these kinda of boots is unparalleled by any kind of hiking boots. With that said if people are riding aroud on the street and then occationaly riding on a hard packed forest service road, these are total overkill. Also remeber full dirt boots are NOT comfortable to walk in.

Take one spill 'on the street' and protection is the only thing that matters & all their comfort issues forgotten. Totally worth it, IMHO. Skin grafts suuuuuuck....

The biggest plus, I see, is that they're a little more stylish and 'suburban' looking than full on dirt boots. So at least if you gotta run into a store real quick, it doesn't immediately look like you're wearing spaceboots.

Can't find any personal reviews of people that has purchase these, not a fan of on closeout items you can't return just exchange. Wish I had more info on these boots besides the revzilla review.

You can resell these for at least the price you pay here.

Motorcycle gear is expensive and easy to resell. Now I only wish my buddy hadn't crashed, I was forced to sell my cruiser. Now I just look at these and other motorcycle deals with dreamy eyes.
Someday!

some info from the advrider thread where some folks are already ridding with the boots. some quick cut and paste from multiple replies in that thread.

For everyone's recap.
Boot is exactly as shown in the video. Exactly
Size seems to run right on. Hard to judge as I am a half size anyway. 11.5 so I went to a 12.
Build quality is excellent
The D30 on the ankles is a nice touch, make them look a little cankle like but who cares right!?
Looks are excellent. I am sure they will need to be oiled just like my work boots, so a little extra maintenance is required compared to boots with hardened out leather shells.
No steel toe for those who were wondering.
Walking in them, they are very comfortable
Overall you cannot beat them for the price.

Oh and I have a big ass calf and these are just fine. If I could get the stupid picture upload to work I would send pictures with measurements of my foot for you but it is not working on my phone with Taptalk.

Just got mine. Fit to size. A scoosh tight but will break in nicely, I think. No steel toe. Very comfortable, lots of support. Will need to get used to the buckle system. Very satisfied, so far.
Lip balm is acceptable...lol

I was in the market for boots and for $100 there's no way to go wrong with these. I wear an 11 and they're true to size but the shift pad puts some pressure on the top of my toes but it should break in. My only concern is the buckle seems a little light weight.

The lip balm is fantastic!

Took them for a run today. They worked great.

Was tempted to get 2 pairs--one for me and my son, but decided to order one for fit.

If they seem good, hopefully we can still get another pair.

I have a pair of top of the line SIDI boots. They run HOT and lack ventilation. So much so that I just never wear them. Anyone tried these?
